Selama sepuluh tahun terakhir jumlah lulusan pendidikan sarjana di bidang pangan, gizi, dan kesehatan semakin meningkat pesat di Indonesia. Sementara berbagai masalah gizi yang solusinya antara lain perlu didekati dari sisi pangan dan kesehatan masih tetap menjadi isu dan kebijakan nasional.
Sejak 2013, PERGIZI Pangan Indonesia bekerjasama dengan ISAGI, ILMAGI, IKAMAGI, HMPPI, dan ISMKMI berinisiatif untuk menyelenggarakan pengkaderan nasional kepemimpinan generasi muda gizi, pangan dan kesehatan dalam bentuk organisasi (DoYouLead) dan workshop (DoYouLead Training) rutin baik tahunan maupun insidentil dengan harapan agar generasi muda gizi, pangan dan Kesehatan yang berkualitas secara akademik dan leadership dapat mempunyai daya yang lebih besar dalam pembangunan gizi, pangan dan kesehatan nasional di masa mendatang.
Alumni dan kontributor aktif DoYouLead telah berprestasi di berbagai sektor dan institusi, mulai dari praktisi hingga akademisi di dalam maupun luar negeri. Selain itu anggota maupun alumni DoYouLead memiliki jejaring luas sebagai salah satu manfaat pasca-workshop sehingga peluang kolaborasi semakin terbuka sebagai dasar untuk membangun komitmen bersama untuk turut berkontribusi dalam pembangunan gizi, pangan, dan kesehatan di Indonesia.
