Since its launch in 2019, the RMIT Graduate Certificate in Domestic & Family Violence has grown the practice knowledge and skills of hundreds of professionals in the community services and allied sectors. Students are prepared for roles as specialist family violence practitioners, which means plenty of engagement with the sector throughout their studies. More than that, our team is passionate about bringing together practice experience, study and academic research to benefit the whole community. That's why we offer this space so that practitioners, researchers, advocates and dedicated community members can share ideas and knowledge about addressing domestic and family violence.
Every year we hold a series of Domestic & Family Violence Practice Forums that address emerging issues and key challenges facing our sector. We bring together expertise from across family violence response organisations, prevention experts, social workers, criminologists and beyond - to share new insights, practice wisdom, and evidence-based tools addressing domestic and family violence.
Please join us in our shared mission to create a future free of domestic and family violence. These forums are open to community sector professionals, policymakers, family violence specialists, and allied practitioners - as well as RMIT students and alumni.
