At Direct Lending, we believe every hardworking adult deserves access to legitimate, safe, and affordable financing. Yet in Malaysia, only 25% of adults—and just 15% of the B40—borrow from licensed institutions (World Bank, 2017). This gap leaves millions vulnerable to scammers and illegal lenders.
We set out to revolutionise borrowing by building a platform that empowers people to pursue their dreams, meet essential needs, and live better lives.
🌟 Our Journey Founded in 2016 as a digital lending marketplace, connecting borrowers with 30+ reputable financing providers. To date, 150,000+ loan eligibility checks completed.
In 2022, launched Malaysia’s first Syariah-compliant auto service financing, enabling car owners to repair their vehicles instantly.
Expanded in 2022–2024 to support micro-SMEs and provide takaful renewal financing. Today, we partner with 2,000+ workshops and agents (including PETRONAS AutoExpert, PROTON, MyEG, Tan Chong Insure).
