DILANS Indonesia. The Indonesian Disability and Elderly Movement (DILANS) was declared in Bandung on December 3, 2021, coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, legalized as a member-based association organization through the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, AHU-0009332.AH.01.07.TAHUN2022, domiciled in the city of Bandung. Intended to create an inclusive world for citizens with disabilities and the elderly who are independent and empowered in economic, political, social and cultural life which is carried out by mobilizing resources through various collaborations with state and non-state actors to accelerate inclusive life. The movement is guided by six core values: Non-partisan, Independence, Participatory, Non-Anthropocentric, Open (open-minded) and Progressive.

Activities are carried out through policy advocacy, research and development of assistive technology innovation, education and training, science, technology, and knowledge literacy, development of communal-based recovery and rehabilitation centers, and other related activities
