Description
Bermula pada tahun 2018, Aksi Dieng Bersih diinisiasi sebagai kampanye kebersihan pada gelaran tahunan Dieng Culture Festival. Aksi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keprihatinan teman-teman sukarelawan pecinta alam dari seluruh wilayah Jawa atas buruknya pengelolaan sampah di Kawasan Dieng selama DCF berlangsung. Mengingat, pada gelaran itu, ribuan orang datang dan tinggal di Dieng selama beberapa hari. Pada tahun yang sama, Aksi Dieng Bersih mampu merangkul 200 relawan dari seluruh Indonesia untuk turut andil dalam kampanye kebersihan dan berhasil mengumpulkan 10,4 ton sampah.
Kemudian, pada tahun 2022, Dieng Bersih kembali dihidupkan. Kali ini, Dieng Bersih tidak hanya berfokus kepada program manajemen sampah selama gelaran DCF berlangsung, tetapi juga membentuk unit usaha berbasis masyarakat dengan sistem bank sampah sekaligus mengedukasi masyarakat Dieng akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan hidup. Untuk itu, Dieng Bersih hadir sebagai satu wadah yang turut andil dalam menjadikan Dieng sebagai kawasan yang berkelanjutan.
