Description

Detour House Inc (DHI) is a not-for-profit (NFP) organisation that provides trauma-informed safe places and programs for women and girls to gain greater stability in their lives, with the objective of reducing the incidence of homelessness. We have been in operation since 1984 and are a Tier 3 Community Housing Provider (CHP) and Specialist Homelessness Service. We currently deliver two key services – Detour House, a women’s residential alcohol and other drug treatment service, and The Girls Refuge (TGR) where we provide crisis accommodation to young people aged 13-17.
