Datacom Security was established in 1998 by electrician and founder Jerard Retford who then ventured off into specialising in security. Now over 20 years later Datacom Security dominates the Central Coast and surrounding regions including Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter Region.

Later joining forces with Brian Mitchell specialising in security, they have collectively taken their business to the next level.

As demand for their professional services grew, they later branched out into the fire protection industry creating a sister company called Datacom Fire headed by fire specialist Jeff McManus.

With a combined working knowledge of over 45 years, Jerard, Brian and Jeff are considered to be masters in their field and being supported by company employed and endorsed security and fire specialists.
