Damn Shiok Ah! started out from a passion that many Singaporeans share - Food. We want our audience to relate to our reviews and feel a connection with us.
Food is something that connects everyone in Singapore and while we are lucky to have numerous F&B outlets in Singapore, it can be hard choosing what to eat sometimes. This is where Damn Shiok Ah! comes in.
Through honest, unfiltered reviews, Damn Shiok Ah! aims to help Singaporeans discover some Damn Shiok eats that are worth savouring at different price points.
YT, the founder of Damn Shiok Ah! is a true foodie inside out. She takes food extremely seriously and believes that no meal (or calories) should ever be wasted on a bad meal. This is also the ethos behind this brand.
With a background in Singapore's national carrier as a wine sommelier, her taste buds have been trained to be a tad more discerning and she has a flair for describing food. Coupled with starting up her own media agency, Elevan August Media, she wanted to combine her expertise with her passion for food and hence, the idea for Damn Shiok Ah! was born!
