After launching the "CIO Solution" book i knew from a very early stage what i wanted to do every single day. That was Cyber Security and Education. Cyber Security for a simple reason it's AWESOME! and education because when one person teaches, two learn.
During the last few years, i was receiving calls and emails from colleagues and friends asking me to help them with their security operations and deploying security frameworks across their production environments. This was happening because there have been some major incidents right around the world, along with new tools, protocols, threats and devices being flooded into our digital environments. Technology Leaders understood they needed help and mentoring to achieve a successful migration and security phase in this cyber world, where they can understand they weren't going to get the answers from the Telco's or Service Providers.
This has led to our latest and greatest breakfast workshop - "Inside The Mind Of A Hacker". This instantly got the attention from technology leaders who are all struggling with the same challenges. Our private workshops have been attended by over 300 technology and now business leaders across Australia and New Zealand, allowing networking and collaboration on all things cyber security.
So, with mentoring, advisory and the real struggle with time management, there will always be a helping hand. So during 2014, I launched CIO Cyber Security. A private advisory firm for CIO's specialising in preventing cyber security threats.
