Tập đoàn C.P. (Charoen Pokphand Group) được thành lập năm 1925 tại Bangkok, Thái Lan. Nay là một tập đoàn sản xuất kinh doanh đa ngành nghề và là một trong những tập đoàn mạnh nhất của Thái Lan trong lĩnh vực công - nông nghiệp và chế biến thực phẩm. Tập đoàn C.P. bắt đầu vào Việt Nam năm 1990 với văn phòng đại diện tại TP. Hồ Chí Minh. Năm 1993 thành lập Công ty TNHH Chăn Nuôi C.P. Việt Nam, có trụ sở chính tại Khu Công nghiệp Biên Hòa 2, TP. Biên Hòa, tỉnh Đồng Nai. Năm 2011 đổi tên thành Công ty Cổ phần Chăn nuôi C.P. Việt Nam (CPV).
