Brand profile · Civic and Social Organizations
Melbourne, Victoria-based Cookbook Club Naarm operates in Civic and Social Organizations. A nonprofit, at instagram.com. It holds one address on record, all in Australia. It employs 2 people, on the record. It is listed alongside three similar brands, mostly in Manufacturing.
We’re Dom & Joan, the duo behind Cookbook Club Naarm. We became friends at uni, bonding over food, travel, and creativity. Joan is an epicurean in every sense of the word, as well as a brilliant illustrator and designer, while Dom is a designer, animator, and videographer who loves nothing more than hosting and putting on lavish feasts.
We started the club in July 2024 with one simple idea: food tastes better when it’s shared. Each month we choose a new cookbook and invite people to cook from it, then gather to share dishes, swap stories, and connect. We host in public spaces, sometimes at venues generously offered by local supporters, and often alongside the cookbook author.
Tickets are kept affordable, with the small fee redeemable at the venue for a drink or donated to charity. Most importantly, this is a space for everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or a total beginner, coming with friends or stepping out of your comfort zone solo, you’ll always find a warm welcome here
