Description
CO-ADD is an open global initiative for discovery and development of new drugs against drug-resistant infections. It is led by a group of scientific experts and industry leaders with experience in screening, medicinal chemistry, drug development and microbiology.
Together, we are working to better understand the chemistry and biology of drug-resistant bacteria and antibiotics to discover and develop new therapies urgently needed to fight infection.
CO-ADD aims to harness the network of academic researchers and their resources to find new antibiotics for the future and combat global antimicrobial resistance.
Our goal is to screen compounds from academic research groups from anywhere in the world for FREE.
CO-ADD is an initiative of The University of Queensland’s Institute for Molecular Bioscience and is funded by the Wellcome Trust and UQ.
