Our organisation: A CALD and refugee-led not-for-profit, building understanding and mutual respect through dialogue and education. We strengthen social cohesion by reducing division, preventing race and faith-based harm, and creating spaces for genuine connection across difference.
Our Values: We believe in the power of genuine engagement across difference. We don't prescribe solutions from the top down; we provide the platform, tools, and spaces to co-design change together. Our work humanises difference, models respectful dialogue, and equips the next generation to build a more cohesive Australia. Not through performative virtue, but through honest conversations and healthy boundaries. Social cohesion is everyone's responsibility, and anyone can play a part.
About our people: We're a multicultural organisation with diverse ethnic and faith based leadership including Hindu, Yazidi, Iranian, Jewish, Sri Lankan, South East Asian, Muslim, Christian, Sikh and other voices. As we engage with more communities and groups, our committees, programs and SME's expand, and we hope to include as many unique voices and cultures as possible over time. For example, our first projects focus on the Yazidi survivors who have resettled in Australia since 2015, and on Jewish Australian experiences post-Oct 7 as part of our broader mission to document and learn from minority community experiences across Australia.
