Description
Code For Everyone is an non-profit initiative in Singapore that seeks to provide free coding classes to everyone, particularly low- to middle-income households. This initiative is in line with Singapore's Smart Nation vision, and we seek to complement with IMDA's various outreach programmes. We aim to work with the various Self Help Groups (CDAC, Mendaki, SINDA & Eurasian Association) to reach our target audience. We are currently raising funding for our initiative.
The importance of Coding in the present and future is substantial. Our programmes will teach computational thinking and basic scripting in Scratch and Python. We are inspired by Google's Code in the Community initiative and would like to give back to the community as well.
