Description
The Coalition for Community Energy (C4CE) is the peak body of the growing community energy sector in Australia. In 2024 we aim to
- run a fabulous Community Energy Congress,
- raise the profile of community energy,
- support the sector directly with events and training,
- support the sector indirectly with policy development and advocacy.
There are over 100 community energy groups around Australia doing everything from electrifying households to negotiating community benefit and ownership arrangements with big renewables. In the middle they are building and financing solar, wind and battery projects, while advocating for the right local infrastructure such as EV charging.
Most importantly, everyone can volunteer and participate.
