Brand profile · Marketing Services
Club P.J. Promotions runs a Marketing Services operation from Bankstown, NSW. The record marks it privately held. It holds one address on record, all in Australia. It self-reports a headcount band of 11–50. It lists pole Posters among its specialties. It is listed alongside one similar brand, in Travel Arrangements.
We specialise in the printing and distribution of pole posters to promote some of Sydney's most prominent pubs, clubs, and events. Our canvas consists of the street telegraph poles strategically placed throughout the city.
Club PJ Promotions was established in 1998 by Mark Platt and Kevin Piper as a cost-effective advertising solution for the thriving nightlife economy in Sydney. The poster distribution arm quickly expanded to Wollongong and Newcastle within the first six months of operation, achieving a peak market share of 70% of Sydney's poster distribution industry.
In December 2002, Mark Platt resigned and sold his share of Club PJ Promotions to pursue other business ventures, leaving Kevin Piper as the sole Director. Tragically, Kevin Piper passed away in August 2004, leaving his family to manage the business. Later that year, the Club PJ Promotions factory was sold to developers, resulting in the closure of the business.
Today, Club PJ Promotions is recognised as the pioneer of pole poster advertising in Australia.
