The firm of CHIONG & PARTNERS (more commonly known as “CnP” in its short form) is a medium sized firm which have been in practice for 14 years since the year of 2009. The founder of CnP, Dato’ Lawrence Chiong Sheng Fan chose the narrow path and formed the partnership with full stride and confidence. To further cater for its growing clientele, CnP subsequently decides to make its presence known not only in Johor Bahru but also in Damansara of Selangor (now shifted to Klang, Selangor) and within the region of Klang Valley, making it also one of the few law firms in Malaysia that sets up two (2) offices within one (1) month. By then, CnP has already commanded the confidence of its clients from all over Asia, mostly from Singapore, Taiwan, China and Malaysia, sitting on board as legal advisors to many clients nationwide and worldwide.
CHIONG & PARTNERS’s clients include domestic and foreign Malaysian companies, as well as international and multinational corporations. Clients come from various fields and industries, including trade, finance, commercial banking, construction, oil and gas, and others. The firm also provides “one-stop” legal services to domestic business clients, assisting them in setting up companies in Malaysia, including company incorporation, capital investment, share subscription, financing and borrowing for projects and assets, employee hiring and company policy setting, compliance consultation on regulations, drafting and consulting on commercial contracts required for business operations, and even legal advice and litigation services as the business expands. Well-known domestic real estate development companies such as Country Garden, Forest City, and Greenland Group are located near CHIONG & PARTNERS in Johor. "In year of 2015, CnP was awarded the “Best Service Provider in Malaysia” by APAC Insider, UK.
Our branch office in Sanya, Hainan Island, China, is about to start operation, enabling us to further advance towards internationalization.
