The Centre of Advancing Women (COAW) is a Victorian state-wide not-for-profit dedicated to supporting refugee and migrant women through community-led care, connection, and advocacy. Since 2020, we have supported over 4,000 women from diverse backgrounds, including refugee and migrant women.
COAW acts as a trusted first point of contact for women navigating systemic barriers. We provide job training, employment programs, community networks and counselling support. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, community-based outreach and support, ensuring that no woman is left behind.
Powered by 25 multilingual staff and volunteers, COAW works to prevent isolation and strengthen communities from the ground up.
