Centre for Defence Research and Technology (CODRAT) was established in March 2009 at the Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia, UPNM (National Defence University of Malaysia, NDUM).
As a Centre of Excellence, CODRAT focuses on Research, Development & Commercialization (R&D&C), and engineering consultancy services in Security and Defence areas to fulfil the National Security Policy. All collaborations are with relevant government, defence industry, academia and private agencies. Subsequently, the outputs will be commercialized for use in the security sectors.
