Description
Our mission is to change the lives of kids today by developing their character through school camps and holiday camps especially to disadvantaged youth from the out-of-home-care sector.
As a Christian run centre we are passionate that experiencing the outdoors makes a difference in people’s lives today.
Physical activity and experiential learning opportunities through participation in outdoor activities are paramount. Camping provides a great opportunity to build character and relationships over the course of a short 2 or 3 day stay with us. It creates opportunities for conversations between our staff, students and teachers that focus on new experiences with challenging activities in a safe environment.
We believe that those who engage in our activities and programs will:
(a) Learn skills related to a particular physical activity (b) Enhance their interpersonal and leadership skills (c) Improve their self-management, decision making and time management skills (d) Learn to appreciate the outdoor environment for sustainability in the future
