CBS Travel Asia was established in 1999 and is now one of Thailand’s most respected leading travel companies. This outstanding achievement, in such a short period of time, was the direct result of the vision of the company’s CFO, Siroj Ussamarn.
He brought to CBS a deep understanding of Asian tourism with more than 35 years of hands-on operational experience driving travel business to Thailand and neighboring countries.
Of those 35 years, 29 were spent with a leading Swiss / Thai tour company where he worked his way through the ranks to become a senior executive in management, prior to branching out on his own by opening CBS Travel Asia as an independent company.
The company also established an outbound division in order to address the country’s growing Thai and expatriate domestic market; meeting the demand for airline ticketing, inclusive package arrangements, business travel, incentives and group arrangements to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Hong Kong, China, Korea, Indochina, Burma, and UAE.
