CAVU is an acronym for perfect weather - Ceiling and Visibility Unlimited. It also sums up our approach to life and producing our high-quality spirits and expressive brands... everything is possible.
Matt Hobson and Michael Conrad co-founded CAVU in 2019 and production of our award winning ORIGINAL DRY GIN and ORIGINAL VODKA commenced in January 2020. NIL DESPERANDUM rum, aptly titled 'FIRST', was released on the 22/2/2022 at 2:22pm.
In collaboration with our distributor PROOF DRINKS AUSTRALIA our in house team of twelve passionate 'Sunshiners' work hard to support our customers, build our brands and grow our family owned business.
