Brand profile · Food and Beverage Manufacturing
Carnarvon Sweeter Banana runs a Food and Beverage Manufacturing operation from Carnarvon. A partnership, at sweeterbanana.com. It holds one address on record, all in Australia. It employs 3 people, on the record. The record links seven similar brands, most of them in Automation Machinery Manufacturing.
Did you know that Carnarvon was the first place in Australia where bananas were grown? Way back in the 1840’s. Now, Carnarvon is recognised as the place where the tastiest and sweetest bananas are grown in Australia. The Sweeter Banana Co-operative was formed by a group of growers in 1993. The idea was to develop a recognisable brand so that Perth consumers could identify and purchase their banana of choice, the Carnarvon Sweeter Banana. The co-operative is owned and operated by 18 farmers all on family run farms on the banks of the Gascoyne River in Carnarvon, Western Australia.
The Sweeter Banana Co-Operative developed the “Original Lunchbox Banana TM” as a way of differentiating our bananas from Tropical North Queensland bananas. The bags serve a dual purpose, one is branding to ensure that consumers know they are buying a genuine Carnarvon Sweeter Banana and the other is to protect our thin-skinned bananas from damage in the shops.
