Butler, McIntyre & Butler is a medium sized independent Tasmanian legal firm. Our offices in Hobart are situated in the centre of the city close to the Commonwealth Law Courts Supreme Court of Tasmania. In Hobart, the name Butler, McIntyre & Butler has been synonymous with high quality legal service for over 185 years. Established in 1824, we are one of the oldest law firms in Tasmania.
Our policy is to provide to our clients an umbrella of high quality legal services through an experienced and capable team of lawyers.
A central theme of our management has been the development of departments: Property and Commercial, Family and Relationship Law, Litigation and Dispute Resolutions, Wills and Probate, Estate Planning, Employment and Industrial Relations, Criminal Law and Conveyancing. This structure focuses knowledge and expertise, and provides our clients a speedy, cost-effective and expertly delivered legal service which reflects their particular needs.
Our legal associations extend to other law firms and businesses in all States. Furthermore, because of the long history of the firm and its partners in Hobart, Butler, McIntyre & Butler has a strong client base involved in all facets of business and commercial activities.
