BusinessFirstNZ runs a Higher Education operation from Palmerston North, Manawatu. It is an educational institution, and its site is bfnz.massey.ac.nz. It holds one address on record, all in New Zealand. It self-reports a headcount band of 1. The record links six similar brands, most of them in Business Consulting.
BusinessFirstNZ is a collaboration between Massey Business School academic staff and business leaders to advance business prosperity in New Zealand. At this stage we are focusing on the businesses in the lower North Island.
The initiative commenced in mid-2019 following calls from university and business leaders to enhance the relationship between their communities. By creating a space to foster engagement and facilitate the sharing of knowledge, key business decision makers and expert academics can work together to explore common challenges faced by industry and work collaboratively towards practical solutions.
To date we have delivered 16 half-day workshops on the Palmerston North campus (We didn't go online during COVID!!) and have covered a variety of topics as reported in the workshop reports posted below.
Don't hesitate to get i touch with the team if you have ideas for future public workshops, require workshop facilitation at your workplace whether it be a topic we have already covered or something unique to your business.
