Description

Business Co-Design (BCD) is a dedicated unit within the University of Sydney Business School that develops teaching and learning initiatives with the aim of improving student engagement through teaching development, support, and the provision of teaching resources for staff.

The BCD team comprises of academic and professional staff in the roles of educational developers, learning designers, media specialists, evaluators, and support staff. We have adopted a number of initiatives to revolutionise the ways we teach and learn both inside and outside the classroom. We listen to student voices, engage students with real-life problems and build dynamic learning spaces.

DI BERG Under BCD, we also have the Disruptive Innovations in Business Education Research Group (DIBERG) which is a transdisciplinary group of engaged and evaluative pedagogical and higher education researchers generating rigorous applied and theoretical research that seeks to innovate, reshape, and disrupt the understanding and landscape of business education.

In addition to this, we share our pedagogical research on our blog site which would be useful when designing assessments, enhancing learning and reimagining the student experience. We are also open to new members in DI BERG from anywhere across the globe. We hold several events where we share our applied and theoretical research to reshape business education with members alongside refreshments.

Collaborate with us and become a research partner. The group welcomes researchers in business education from across the University of Sydney Business School, and those who are interested in business education as a field of research from across the University and other institutions. We are actively looking for partners on ambitious research programs and major grants.
