Description

Bursaria Fine Foods is the creation of our Director, Sara O'Callaghan and began in 2005. Hard work, passion and dedication has enabled Bursaria to evolve from humble cafe beginnings, to what is now a successful and catering company, delivering extraordinary weddings and events at two iconic heritage venues.

Bursaria's inspiration comes from creating unique and memorable food in awe-inspiring locations with friendly and exceptional service.

It was in 2011 that Bursaria Fine Foods commenced as the exclusive weddings and events caterer at the Abbotsford Convent; including the highly sought after Heritage Gardens, Rosina Courtyard and Rosina Function Space. Further renovations to the Abbotsford Convent buildings has since opened up opportunities to cater for small to medium sized meetings, conferences and seminars.

Bursaria Fine Foods went on to successfully win the catering contract for The Refectory at Werribee Park and after an extensive refurbishment, The Refectory by Bursaria was launched. The addition to our venues has enabled us to broaden our brand and offer a destination venue for weddings, functions and events to western Melbourne and the greater Geelong regions.

We are proud to now have two unique venues that are rich in history and steeped in the arts and culture. The combination of products and services along with Bursaria teams' skills and expertise provides a beginning to end experience making each event unforgettable.

Looking to the future, Bursaria Fine Food's aim is to continue to offer a unique experience where the stunning heritage venue and precinct is second only to our award-winning catering for wedding, functions, bespoke and major events.
