The main requirement to become a Mortgage or Finance Broker is to complete either Certificate IV in Mortgage Finance or Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Management to comply with ASIC’s regulations.
The courses offered are designed to have you operating in the minimum possible time frame while gaining solid foundations in the mortgage industry.
Established in 1991, initially to train real estate professionals in assisting their clients with mortgage finance, Walker and Miller evolved as a specialist mortgage industry training institution making it the longest established Mortgage Industry training institution in Australia.
Long before it became an industry requirement Walker and Miller Training were facilitating courses for new entrants and experienced brokers to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to become successful as mortgage and finance consultants.
As the industry evolves with ASIC, associations and lenders requiring qualifications, courses are tailored and continue to be tailored to pre-empt industry requirements and changes in Government Legislation ensuring our graduates are at the forefront of the industry.
Courses can be completed online, via distance learning or face to face workshops. Our trainers all have minimum 15 years experience in the finance industry helping to ad real experience and knowledge to the courses.
