Description
Badan Otonom COGITO merupakan salah satu organisasi keilmiahan yang berada di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Sriwijaya. Sejarah COGITO bermula dari kesadaran para mahasiswa berprestasi FISIP UNSRI akan tiadanya organisasi yang mampu menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan dunia literasi di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, padahal pada saat bersamaan fakultas lain sudah memilikinya. Dari keresahan tersebut, maka lahirlah COGITO yang menjadi komunitas pada Desember 2017. Kemudian menjadi badan semi otonom dibawah naungan BEM KM FISIP UNSRI pada tanggal 8 Febuari 2018. Akhirnya resmi menjadi badan otonom di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik pada 25 April 2019. Badan Otonom Cogito mempunyai terdapat beberapa departemen yaitu, Departemen HRD, Departemen Humas, Departemen Perka, Departemen Medindo, Departemen Sivent, dan Departemen Inventar
