The Association of SA Blind Sporting Clubs known as Blind Sports SA is recognised by the South Australian Office for Recreation, Sport & Racing as the state disability sporting organisation representing people who are blind or have low vision.
Blind Sports SA is a not for profit state disability sporting organisation (registered with the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission) which actively encourages blind and vision impaired people to take part in the sport of their choice by promoting and developing competitive and recreational sports of all kinds, by obtaining and circulating the relevant information and rules, seeking the necessary funding and representing their interests in appropriate areas.
Lives are enriched through participation in sport and our mission is to work with our members and key stakeholders to support them and ensure that programs are delivered which are of the highest standard and meet the needs of our individual participants, whilst also seeking to educate the wider community by raising awareness of how sports can be modified for the inclusion of all participants.
