In 2016, soon after the company was founded work began to partner with the Philippine’s Flagship Carrier, Philippine Airlines (“PAL”) to make Travel Wi-Fi a product as essential to travelers as extra baggage, meals, and insurance. As important as partnering with an Airline, work with partnering with offline Travel Agencies (“TA”) was already underway and it grew from 10 partner travel agencies to 350 partner TAs. Offline Travel Agencies still account for 80% of travel bookings in the Philippines.

In 2017, after a big year of launches, the year’s focus was about improving and stabilizing the company’s operations and service to support the growth run rate and higher targets. The company launched an improved product with 4G capable travel wi-fi, 24/7 technical support call center, and airport booths with Smart to support last minute pick-ups.
In 2018 to 2019, growth still continued, Big Sky launched partnerships with the country’s biggest banks BDO, METROBANK, and PNB, SEA’s biggest online travel agency platform (OTA)— KLOOK, SEA's biggest ride hailing services--- GRAB, and the Philippines' biggest Airline: Cebu Pacific with CebWiFi Kit.
Big Sky has established itself as the preferred and most trusted Travel Solutions company in the Philippines.
