Description
The Australian Carbon Token BCAU is Australia's Currency of Climate.
A single digital asset that allows users to participate in the price of the Australian Carbon market, spend, and automatically offset utilising the Clima Carbon Index at NO ADDITIONAL COST to users Listed on Australia's Largest DCE, Coinspot with over 2.5 million registered users.
The token it self is notionally backed by Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCU) held in the Australian National Register of Emissions Units. For every ACCU, which represents a Tonne of Carbon Avoided or Removed, Australian Carbon Token issues 1000 BCAU tokens.
The token allows users to :
*Allow individuals to create influence over the price of ACCU which large polluters are obliged to purchase as part of the Australia's Climate policy.
*Hold assets on their own wallets *Buy and Sell BCAU *Use BCAU to spend at any POS that accepts MasterCard
- Automatically offset spending at no cost by using the Coinspot Mastercard. (using the Clima Carbon Index on KG of emissions per $100) spent
