Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.
Beta Gamma Sigma Universiti Utara Malaysia Chapter was founded in 2017, following the successful AACSB accreditation of its 6 business schools in the previous year. Membership of Beta Gamma Sigma is strictly by invitation. A total of 75 members were inducted into the chapter, which is approximately 5% among the first-class students in the UUM College of Business. There are currently 130 members of BGS UUM, who were selected among undergraduate and postgraduate UUM students.
