Description

Becoming Better Together Collective (BBTC) is a values-driven collaboration founded by Shantelle Thompson, Gemma Saunders, and Lilian Musyawa Kikuvi. We design and deliver transformative learning experiences at the intersection of Leadership, Workplace Culture, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Our work is rooted in First Nations, Kenyan, and Queer cultural knowledge systems.

In an era of rapid change, we help organisations move beyond surface-level inclusion to activate deep, systemic change. We believe that equity is not a checkbox—it is a cultural, strategic, and moral imperative.

Our work is guided by the Head (knowledge and insight), Heart (empathy and connection), and Hands (practical action)—a holistic model that spark lasting, values-driven transformation.

We focus on three core areas:

1. Building Capability Where It Matters Most: We cultivate critical skills like cultural intelligence, collective resilience, and inclusive leadership to embed equity and navigate complexity.

2. Preparing for the Future of Work: Our programmes build courageous leaders who can think critically, adapt with clarity, and foster cultures of belonging in an evolving, tech-driven world.

3. Enhancing the Human-Tech Partnership: We empower the people who lead innovation. We anchor it in human connection, ethical leadership, and inclusive systems that centre those too often left out.

From 90-minute workshops to 8-week leadership intensives and Equity Impact Assessments, BBTC equips organisations to lead with clarity, conviction, and cultural intelligence.

Our clients include: Spotify, Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, Medibank, AGL Energy, Hydro Tasmania, Sportsbet, PaperCut, and Connect Media.
