We’re just a small operation that’s trying to make a meaningful difference to the future of the planet. Our mission is to empower people to replace their everyday plastics with biodegradable and compostable alternatives. It’s an easy switch that will help reduce unnecessary waste and begin to reverse the damage that’s been done.
We’ve been working hard to develop products that lead the way for sustainability and support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for protecting the planet. After rigorous testing and trials, the result is a pretty great range of eco-aware bags – and we’re not the only ones that think so! Our products meet global standards and are recognised in Australia, North America and Europe for their level of biodegradability.
Our versatile assortment of shopping bags, bin liners, doggy bags and wine bags (just to name a few) are completely compostable. Basically, that means you can feel GOOD about using Because We Care Australia products. Once you’re finished with them, they’ll be re-claimed by the earth in 90 days in an industrial composting facility or in 180 days in a home composting environment.
