My name is Svathy G, an entrepreneur who wants to inspire & motivate others. Let me tap lightly into biology and psychology (as I love to speak psychology), a little about why I started what I do now. In our brains, the link between higher serotonin and a lack of rejection sensitivity allows people to put themselves in situations that will bolster self-esteem, increase feelings of worthiness and create a sense of belonging. To increase serotonin, the confidence molecule or the happy brain chemical, challenge yourself regularly and pursue things that reinforce a sense of purpose, meaning and accomplishments that makes you happy. On that note, I started Skin First Makeup Second, an e-commerce business, where I sell organic + natural skincare and body care products that are existing brands in the market, as I believe in the goodness of it. When you maintain a great skin underneath layers of makeup, you look ravishing even without it, sending people the message that you work on your skin. You feel good! Serotonin increases tremendously, giving you confidence, happiness and boosts you in many ways :)
To me, happiness is what makes us women look pretty, going all out to achieve our dreams with confidence!
On top of the many things I do, I realized the power of human connections when I started SFMS. It is absolutely important for us to reach out to the right set of people, to speak the same language, to form a community that can help you. Hence, I created a group: Beauty, Brains & Business Network, an avenue you and I can go to when we need to do some reflections on business, find a mentor, talk about business ideas or get some guidance. We are social animals by nature, let's admit it! We can't do without each other. Imagine the number of loopholes you can close just by having dialogues & discussions with a team. I want to create something that will last long enough to make an impact with awesome members who are fun and loyal!
