Back To Sport originated from a personal experience, an experience that is shared by millions of Australians today.
As many Australians, we live a healthy and active lifestyle: we run, climb, surf... And we have faced before the infamous… sports injury.
We have experienced the complex journey to recovery and it made us realise how poorly informed we are regarding sports recovery and best practices to avoid injuries.
In the new age of the Internet and rapidly evolving technology, we believe that this knowledge should be more accessible and understandable by any active person. We are convinced that more can be done to both complement the traditional health care system and integrate emerging initiatives in the digital health space.
For this reason, Back To Sport was created, with the objective to become a new online reference for sports injury prevention, recovery and rehabilitation.
Back To Sport started as an online retail business offering sports enthusiasts access to high quality products, such as braces, tapes, hot/cold therapy products or massagers.
But beyond the retail side, we have identified several ways to improve the quality of the patient journey throughout the recovery process and integrate physiotherapy services into our business model.
We want to leverage technology such as tele-healthcare, mHealth and digital health systems to accomplish our Vision:
To become the number one digital partner for active people and physiotherapy practices in Australia.
