With a history of 40+ years, the Armenian Youth Federation of Australia (AYF-AU) is the largest and most active Armenian-Australian youth organisation.

AYF Australia strives to enrich its 16-to-26-year-old members' lives on personal, intellectual, cultural and professional levels, encouraging them to become active participants in their communities through leadership, volunteering and giving back to society.

AYF, founded in 1933 in the USA, stands on 5 pillars guiding its activities: Educational, Political Advocacy, Social, Cultural and Athletic. It plays a fundamental part in preserving the Armenian culture and advocating for the Armenian Cause. With more than 40 global chapters, AYF brings the Armenian youth together by hosting several social, cultural and educational events for both its members and the wider community.

ORGANISATIONAL AYF Australia’s highest executive body is the Central Executive committee whose role is to oversee the operational and functional procedures of all AYF chapters across Australia. In turn, each chapter has its Executive Committee which guides the chapter’s activities.
