Description

In early 2021 our Founder Jessica Eden wondered why there weren't more women playing golf. Surrounded by men on the golf course, she had an aha moment...

The Australian Women's Golf Network was born by parent company Bison United, which sponsored the first women's golf and networking event for women in construction and property. 24 beginner golfers were invited to celebrate International Women's Day, learn a few golf skills led by female PGA coaches, and enjoy a lovely lunch with local wines while listening to very inspirational guest speakers - it was an enormous success! Almost three years on, with over 4,500 women in the network nationally, corporate sponsors, and the support of Australia's best golf clubs we’re continuing to challenge and grow in a traditionally male sport.

The women in AWGN are diverse both culturally, by age, and professionally and this is something we are all very proud of. AWGN offers a valuable mix of fun golf events at bucket list Australian golf courses, on-course professional coaching and private clinics, high-level business networking, and the opportunity for women to maximise their true potential. We also recently introduced fine wine and food events, inviting the men in our network to join in on non-golf days.

On behalf of the team at AWGN & Bison United, we look forward to meeting you and introducing you to some of the wonderful and truly inspirational people in our network.
