The Australian Federation of International Students (AFIS) is a non-profit incorporated association established in 2002 to address international student issues. As a community organisation, AFIS is committed to generating multicultural awareness, enhancing the experience and reinforcing support networks for international students living and studying in Australia.

By working collaboratively with both municipal- and state governments, education providers, student representative associations, student clubs and societies, and a variety of community organisations, AFIS provides a broad range of events for international students to voice their needs and address their interests.

AFIS is continuously working to enrich the international student experience of all overseas students, and is the top representative body for the State of Victoria.
