The Australian Centre for Career Education (formerly the Career Education Association of Victoria, CEAV) is a national career education subject association, subject expert, and endorsed training provider of career practitioners by the peak industry body, The Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA). We are a not-for-profit educational charity and thought leader in career education and development.
Our mission is the advancement of career development and education for the public benefit of all Australians.
The Australian Centre for Career Education commenced in 1975 to train teachers in secondary schools to support student subject choices and transitioning. We have a proud history of service to the education and community sectors, governments, and the community. In 2014, we changed our name to The Australian Centre for Career Education to reflect our national focus and our ongoing development and delivery of high quality career resources, training, and consulting services across Australia.
