Description

Australian Access Federation (AAF) is the Research and Higher Education Identity Access Federation of Australia.

We are Australia’s leading Trust and Identity specialists – and an NCRIS capability building a system-wide approach to Trust and Identity.

AAF enables participating organisations to use one username and password to access world class national and international resources.

For identity providers, the AAF eliminates the need for the creation of multiple local password-protected accounts and simplifies access to online resources, removing geographical barriers.

Service providers can simplify access to their services and remove the need for individual bi-lateral agreements.

AAF is enabled by Australia's National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS). We are working with national research infrastructures for a more connected and collaborative research ecosystem. #NCRISimpact

AAF is also the ORCID Consortium lead for Australia.
