AARES is the pre-eminent professional society promoting study, applied research, policy engagement and public dialogue in agricultural-, environmental-, food-, and resource-economics and agribusiness in Australasia. AARES members are professionals and students in the fields of agricultural-, environmental-, food-, and resource-economics and agribusiness. Our members are engaged in these topics through teaching, research, consulting, policy and practitioner roles.
AARES hosts an annual conference in February each year and publishes the Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics. Ten regional branches across Australia, New Zealand, East Asia, and North America host local networking and professional development opportunities and seminars.
