ASTEN stands for the Australasian Science & Technology Engagement Network, a professional membership body connecting science centres, museums, STEM outreach programs, and informal learning experiences across Australia and New Zealand. Its mission is to foster collaboration, share best practices, and support high-impact, interactive science and technology engagement.
Our members are passionate about curating unforgettable experiences that meaningfully reach their audiences. With some of the most creative minds in the industry, our annual conferences are a key way to be inspired about what is possible in STEM engagement. ASTEN strives for a 'warts-and-all' approach to knowledge sharing and prioritises connection and collaboration with across our sector.
