Description
Ascendance is an international youth organization that empowers at-risk secondary school students to unlock their potential, develop holistic careers, and become active contributors to their communities - all before they leave high school.
Since our formation in 2015, we have reached out to 50,000 students in 26 countries through our conferences, outreach programs, online platform, and teenage entrepreneur challenges. For our humanitarian work, we received The Diana Award for Young Changemakers (awarded by the Diana Foundation from the UK).
In 2023, Ascendance's Teenage Entrepreneur Online Platform won the 'Best Entrepreneurship Education Project' at the Money Awareness & Inclusion Awards, Singapore while our student development work was selected as one of the four Asia Finalist for the Commonwealth Youth Awards (UK) where we represented UN SDG #4 for Quality Education.
An organization run by Gen Zs 10 to 26 years old, Ascendance focuses on peer-to-peer programming, encouraging students to build leadership capacity while developing their own careers, to spark inspiration in other youths to do the same.
