Founded in Perth in 2012, Arvela was inspired by the potential of black soldier flies to convert organic waste into high-value products. The black soldier fly became the heart of our business, selected for its unmatched breeding, nutritional and processing prowess.
Today, we transform low-value organic waste into premium products. After ten years of relentless research, testing, and trailblazing, we're not just staring at the horizon – we're redefining it.
Arvela has developed a dedicated black soldier fly breeding facility in Perth with world-class productivity metrics. We supply black soldier fly eggs and neonates to businesses building their own insect-based waste and protein solutions. This allows our customers to focus on their core business without the need to manage the complexity and challenges of breeding.
Our managed breeding program ensures high quality broodstock with excellent hatchability, which makes Arvela black soldier fly eggs the industry gold standard.
