Description

The ARC Training Centre - Chemical Industries (ATCI) fosters transformative and innovative research in Australia’s chemical and advanced manufacturing sectors through a new industry-led research-training program developed through partnerships between industry and universities.

The Centre brings together three leading Universities (The University of Melbourne, The University of New South Wales and Swinburne University of Technology), chemical industry companies and Chemistry Australia in a unique collaboration that will provide greater alignment between the chemical industry’s need for highly-skilled STEM graduates equipped with excellent academic training, relevant industry skills and experience.

The Centre will host 30 Master of Industrial Research (MIR) students who will complete industry-led research projects to be undertaken with a minimum 1-year placement in industry.

We are seeking opportunities to collaborate with companies in the chemical industries, particular those who are interested in hosting a MIR student.

We are also seeking excellent candidates for the MIR program.
