Description
A Renewal Agent (ARA) is an event organized by Information Technology Department from Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology.
ARA is taken from the word "A Renewal Agent" as the name implies, ARA is expected to be a forum for participants to become agents of reform as a pillar in the field of Technology and Information for Indonesia 2045.
ARA activities are divided into several branches of activities and competitions in the field of Cyber Security and Internet of Things
Among them are :
- Roadshow IT
Roadshow IT is a visitation activity to schools aimed at SMA and SMK students throughout Indonesia in order to introduce the Information Technology Department of ITS. This IT Roadshow activity is part of a series of ARA 4.0 events which are held online and offline.
- OlimpIT
OlimpIT is a competition held in a series of ARA 4.0 events. The Olympics in the ARA 4.0 series of events are intended for SMA / SMK students throughout Indonesia. Questions covering the Curriculum of the Information Technology Department will be given to participants in this competition.
- CTF ARA
CTF or Capture the Flag is a competition around the field of Cyber Security aimed at SMA's students and active PTN/PTS students throughout Indonesia. Participants in the CTF competition in the ARA 4.0 series are required to find hidden files in the form of files or strings (text) called "Flags".
-ExploIT ExploIT is a forum or means to display the results of technological works from Indonesian students through exhibitions. This exhibition will also be filled with various talk shows with topics regarding Information Technology. ExploIT in the ARA 4.0 series has an upcoming topic of discussion about IoT (Internet of Thing). ExploIT is intended for students, lecturers, and the public in Indonesia as well as Start-Ups in the field of IoT (Internet of Thing).
