Jurusan Administrasi Publik FISIP UIN SGD Bandung, telah berdiri dari tahun 2007. Dengan Nama pada saat pendirian adalah Administrasi Negara. Namun berdasar pada surat keputusan menteri tentang perubahan nomenklatur program studi, maka Jursan Administrasi Negara di rubah menjadi Jurusan Administrasi Publik.
Jurusan Administrasi Publik FISIP UIN SGD Bandung ini, merupakan salah satu dari 5 besar jurusan terfavorit di UIN SGD Bandung. Dengan berbagai prestasi pada tri dharmah perguruan tinggi Jurusan ini berupaya go Internasional pada tahun 2024.
Telah meluluskan tidak kurang dari 1500 alumni, yang tersebar di berbagai lembaga pemerintahan, perusahaan BUMN / Swasta baik level daerah, nasional dan Internasional.
