At that time I was frustrated with the level of service offered to me by rec2rec recruiters who didn’t offer a true consultative approach to help me find the perfect cultural match for my career!
I also noticed a lack of female leadership and guidance at this point, recruitment is a niche industry with more women than men until leadership when the dynamic switches and men take prominence in leadership roles. I wanted to offer ambitious women a chance to take their careers further as well as being able to build businesses fit for the future - after all, female led businesses consistently perform better than their male dominated competitors! 🚀
This formed the ethos of Connected Recruiters as well as knowing that matching cultural fit and growth goals is crucial to success.
